'Simple Crown' is made from a special foam, a material that is much more dense than Styrofoam™ , but shares its ultra-lightweight feature. This unique foam product is solid and has a very smooth exterior texture that, when painted looks like wood molding. It is resistant to aging, heat, cold, and shrinkage. Readily accepts latex primer and paint.

'Simple Crown' is so lightweight and simple to install that one person can install it in a fraction of the time it takes to install wood molding. It is so easy that a child could do it.

Each section of 'Simple Crown' molding measures 31/2" x 4 ft. It's supplied in a kit that included twelve, four-foot sections (48 linear feet) of molding, four decorative corner pieces, and one tube of Loctite's Power Grab construction adhesive. Should you need more that 48 linear feet, supplemental kits are available which contain four additional sections (16 additional linear feet). If you have one or more "out" corners in your room, you will need an "Out Corner Kit" for each one. (See the F.A.Q. section for further Out-Corner Information).

Lightweight spackling compound should be used to hide the joints. Latex caulk should be used for edge finish. Only use latex primer and paint. (Oil based paints and solvents will damage the molding.)
